Bighorn Sheep & Domestic Livestock
Bighorn Sheep & Domestic Livestock
The Bighorn Sheep that live on and around Majors Ranch are some of our most iconic and visible wildlife. Watching them gingerly pick their way up and down the dikes and rock formations on Silver Mountain is absolutely breath taking. And the fall rut can bring moments that you have only seen in wildlife videos on television. But there is a hidden danger when domestic sheep and goats are exposed to these native sheep.

And although wildlife and flowers are nice...some of us are simply here to find our next trophy buck, or bull. Have a look at some of the fine animals that have been taken by our owners.

Please remember that all of Majors Ranch is private land, with much of it accessed by private roads. There is no BLM access in Majors Ranch available to the general public.
